Partial Packing Help

Not everybody wants a crew touching every drawer in the house, and not everybody has time to pack a whole kitchen themselves either. Partial packing splits the difference: you box up the rooms you’d rather handle personally — clothes, personal papers, whatever you don’t want strangers sorting through — and our crew takes the rooms that are genuinely the worst to pack alone.

Kitchens and garages are the two we get asked about most, and for good reason. A kitchen is dozens of small, oddly-shaped, breakable items that take forever to wrap correctly, and a garage is usually a mix of tools, chemicals that need special handling, and things that have been sitting there for years. Our crew comes in, packs those rooms with the same materials and labeling system we use on full-service jobs, and leaves the rest of the house for you.

Once moving day comes, it doesn’t matter which boxes you packed and which ones we did — the same crew carries all of it out to the truck, and if anything needs to go into our climate-controlled warehouse instead of straight to your new address, it gets tagged and routed there without a separate trip or a separate company involved.

Scheduling a partial pack works the same way full-service does — we can come the day before your move to get the harder rooms out of the way, or the morning of if the rest of the house is already down to a handful of boxes you’re finishing yourself. Either way, you’re not paying for a full-house pack you don’t need, just the rooms that actually save you a weekend of wrapping glassware and untangling extension cords in a garage. Garages tend to run longer than people expect, mostly because of half-used cans of paint, yard chemicals and equipment that need to be handled and labeled a specific way rather than just boxed like everything else. We sort that out as part of the job instead of leaving it for you to figure out at the curb on trash day.
