Harper Transfer & Storage is based in Laurel, Mississippi, and most weeks our trucks are somewhere on US-11, I-59, US-84, or MS-15 running a job to one of the towns around us. Jones County doesn’t grow the way the bigger Sun Belt cities do, but the Pine Belt has its own steady rhythm of moves — new jobs at the mills, families moving closer to Laurel schools, folks relocating out to quieter ground along the back roads — and we’ve built our coverage area around exactly that pattern.

Close to home, we run regular moves in Ellisville and Sandersville, and out toward Moselle and Soso, where longleaf pine plantings mean the GPS route isn’t always the fastest one — our crews know the shortcuts. We also cover Heidelberg and Bay Springs to the north, Richton to the south, Waynesboro further out to the east on US-84, and Collins and Seminary to the west and southwest. Wherever the job is, it’s the same Harper crew and the same trucks that work Laurel itself. Spring in this part of Mississippi also means keeping an eye on tornado watches, and our dispatch builds a little flexibility into every schedule for exactly that reason.

The reason our coverage area matters as much as it does is the warehouse. If a move into or out of any of these towns needs a storage gap — a closing date that slips, a lease that ends before the new place is ready — your items come back to our own climate-controlled warehouse at 2204 Ellisville Blvd instead of getting handed off to a self-storage unit somewhere between here and there. That’s not something every mover covering this stretch of the Pine Belt can say.
